MistPeak is a generative typeface system built in Processing and inspired by the landscapes of tea plantations. Each letterform is formed through four key factors—elevation, humidity, temperature, and rainfall—turning climate data into a visual language. Each tea variety has its own identity: circular for oolong, straight for green, and curved for black, echoing the shape of their leaves. Together, they create a modular system that connects environment, and culture in one unified typographic expression.
➝ Type in real time and turn elevation, humidity, temperature, and rainfall to the letterforms.
➝ Humidity sets stroke weight
➝ Rain fall scales dot size
➝ Elevation lengthens angled lines
➝ Temperature shifts stroke color
➝ Each tea keeps its own character within a unified system—scaling cleanly to tea shop branding and packaging.
